Christ Blessing The Children

AWANA For Kids:  Wednesday Evenings

AWANA is a children’s program that teaches children Bible Verses, respect for God and His word, discipline and how to get along with each other. A typical AWANA evening begins with a half hour group class in the sanctuary with a flag ceremony, singing and a lesson from the Bible.

The children are then split into classes by age with one to two teachers per class. They spend another half hour learning Bible Verses and a short lesson.

Then the children come together for a half hour of games and a light snack before being released to their parents at 8 p.m.

We teach our children; we watch over and protect our children and we value our children. They are our most important possession and we love them very much.

Parents are encouraged to become a part of AWANA and enjoy the fun of teaching children. It is a great family ministry.

There is an adult Bible Study that runs concurrently with AWANA for parents that want to learn more about how to apply the Bible to their lives.

Parents may also leave their children with us until 8:00 p.m. if they would like a little time to shop or just be by themselves.
